I am in love with this Swissphone pager demo. I have only used it one day and it has unbelievably better reception than my Motorola Minitor V. I am going to keep it and I would like to order the programming kit for it as well. As soon as I am ready to purchase more pagers I will definitely choose Swissphone.

"I first noticed this pager at a convention, I had the chance to test this pager for our fire dept. I must say that I was surprised as to how good this pager worked. I was carrying the Swissphone along with a regular pager and must say that the Swissphone picked up the communications far better than our current pager, the communications came across loud and clear, the volume on the Swissphone was set to #2 and was loud enough to hear across a room. The Swissphone was also given to one of our other members who stated that his pager could not pick up our Longport when he was off shore. After he used the Swissphone he called me and stated that the Swissphone worked great and he could hear everything. "After many months of my Deputy Chiefs asking me to try the Swissphone pager, I tested 3 starting in September of 2008. Wow!!! These pagers are great! I cannot believe how clear the voice is when we are dispatched, every call is being recorded perfectly, (a problem we have been having with our other pagers) and they activate every time. "I would rate the Swissphone pagers at a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. The department that I am on was a firm believer in Motorola pagers up until we had some Swissphone pagers as demos. "I purchased 3 Swiss Phone pagers approximately 4 years ago to try them out as my American pagers were not dependable and their sensitivity was not compatible with our remote area so we missed many pages. We still have the original batteries in the Swiss Phone pagers and the volunteers who work in metal buildings and operate heavy equipment never miss their pages. We have had no problems with the pager battery chargers and they have a positive lock when placed in the charger rather than having to wiggle the pager around in the charger to make contact only to have the pager not fully charged as with some of the competition. In the last year and a half I have replaced all of our dept pagers with Swissphone. The other advantage I have enjoyed is the feature of having several departments page tones in one pager as I am active in our fire district helping out other departments. My volunteers do not have to call fire dispatch for the tone out time as it is saved in their pager. When it comes to programming I have never had a problem getting the programmer to read the pager as I experienced with the competition."
Thanks for allowing us to demo the Swissphone pagers. We field tested them for thirty days and were quite impressed. Although I will admit that I was skeptical that they could meet the performance standard of the brand we currently use, I was pleasantly surprised to find out they did. We liked the smaller, lighter size of the Swissphone - they were everything you explained. I especially like the capability of programming them in a customized way that would better suit our needs. Again, thanks for "opening our eyes" to the Swissphone brand.
